The last page (that I'm showing) of this lengthy birthday card. Unlike the other pages, I did several sketches to try and convey the scene just right. I think I'd still be at it if there wasn't 365 days between birthdays. I'm a perfectionist and so I really wanted to convey just how beautiful she truly is. Some people are beautiful on the outside but she was gorgeous through and through and all I can say was that she could really stun me at times leaving me looking like an idiot but in truth my heart was beating like crazy because she took my breath away. Once again the lyrics gave me an idea for the image almost immediately even if it took several attempts to nail the overall look I wanted.
